Our new photovoltaic system
At the beginning of March 2023, the assembly work for the office and production area totaling approx. 6500m2 was started. The installation of a solar plant with an output of 1,308 kWp was a central component of the project. Based on data from our simulation program, we assume that the plant in Lenzing will achieve a yield of 987 kWh/kWp. This corresponds to an annual yield of approximately 1,290,996 kWh. This is a significant amount of renewable energy that will cover the electricity demand at the site by 21%.
But not only that! The operation of the solar plant will also contribute to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. By not using fossil fuels, we can save around 260.8 tons of CO2 per year. This is an important contribution to climate protection and to reducing our ecological footprint.
Commissioning of the solar plant is scheduled for early May 2023. We look forward to starting the environmentally friendly operation of our office and production space.
